Every day motor vehicles are stolen in Malaysia, and statistics show that there is no significant sign of a reduction ever happening, or is there? For years i-mob has been at the forefront of protecting vehicles and their contents, with highly innovative products, substantial expenditure on research and development, leading-edge design and manufacturing techniques. Their experience in the vehicle security industry is unsurpassed. Most modern cars today are fitted with a key immobiliser. A key immobiliser is an electronic device fitted to your car, which prevents the engine from running unless the correct key is used. This prevents the car from being "hot wired" after illegal entry has been achieved. The microcircuit inside the key is activated by a small electromagnetic field, which induces current to flow inside the key body, which in turn broadcasts a unique binary code, which is read by the automobile's ECU. When the ECU determines that the coded key is both current and valid, the ECU activates the fuel-injection sequence. The i-mob system on the other hand uses rolling codes or advanced cryptography to defeat copying of the code, hence its uniqueness. i-mob also features a two-way communication which can be used in the event of an emergency. In the event of a major accident the system will automatically call the 24 hours monitoring centre for assistance. If your car gets towed away or is lifted, the anti-lift alarm will trigger where the inbuilt tilt and lift sensor senses the lift and movement. If your car battery is disconnected or starts running weak the system will automatically send a signal to notify the owner. i-mob can even protect you car key against key theft via an interactive option.
